Estate services · Greater Boston

Everything an estate needs, handled by one person.

Clearing the house, selling the belongings, finding the paperwork, notarizing the documents. Blue Legacy does the hands-on work of settling an estate and coordinates the rest, so your family can focus on each other.

One point of contact

You shouldn't have to manage five vendors while you grieve.

Most families settling an estate end up juggling a clean-out crew, an estate sale company, a shredding service, a notary, and a realtor, each with their own schedule and their own invoice. Blue Legacy replaces that with one person who plans the whole thing, does the work we do ourselves, and coordinates the specialists you need.

We started in 2017 after our own family went through it, so we build every plan around what actually helps: fewer calls to make, keepsakes protected, and a clear next step at every stage.

  • One plan and one person for the entire estate
  • We coordinate directly with your attorney and realtor
  • Free, unhurried consultation before anything begins

Common questions

Answers for families and executors

A few of the things people ask us first. If yours isn't here, a quick call sorts it out.

Ask us directly
Do I have to use every service, or can I pick just one?
Pick exactly what you need. Some families hand us the whole estate; others just want the clean-out, or only the estate sale. The consultation is where we figure out what actually helps, with no pressure to add more.
Can you work while the estate is still in probate?
In most cases yes, once the right person has legal authority to act. We routinely work during probate and coordinate with your attorney so nothing is cleared or sold before it should be.
Are you attorneys, accountants, or realtors?
No, and we're clear about that. We do the hands-on work and coordinate closely with the professionals you retain, or introduce you to trusted partners when you need one.
We live out of state. Can you still help?
Yes. A large part of what we do is for families who can't be here. We can handle the home end to end and keep you updated, so you don't have to travel back and forth.
